Step by step / Classic French Square-shape acrylic nail

Preparation:

Prepare the nail as usual:
1. push the skin up, remove any sticky skin with the scrappy part of the preparatory spatula,
2. shorten the nail length,
3. mat the surface with 180 grit file,
4. Dust off carefully, then use the preparatory liquids for proper sterilization, dehydration and adhesion (first use Nail Prep, then the acid or acid-free primer, as you like, or even both),
5. Before placing the pattern, remove the middle part and stick it as reinforcement onto the back side of the part below the free edge. Cut the pattern and tailor it to the form of the natural nail’s free edge, if necessary. The pattern should be positioned accurately according to the form of the desired built nail. Now, in this case, I shaped the pattern after the form of the modern stiletto nail, but if you like to build a parallel sided nail, it should have a parallel or slightly shrinking cylinder form.
1. After placing the pattern, apply some liquid on the free-edge of the natural nail for easier molding. Then dip the acrylic brush into the liquid, take a proper amount of white acrylic powder (Master White or Slower White) be careful to work with a right blend that is neither too wet nor too dry. Place the ball on the free-edge and flatten it.
2. Then wipe the brush continuously and hold it at the same time in 45 degrees to draw the smile line with the tip of the brush, moving it outward from the middle.
3. Form 2 additional clear balls (clear pink or clear) first, fill in the nail bed with the first bid and then form the C-curve with the second.
4. Hold the brush in a 45° angle and push the material toward the cuticle with the tip of the brush so that it doesn't touch the skin and the material is thinned away toward it. Then flatten the material with the belly of the brush and suck out the excess liquid while wiping it off continuously. Bend the half-bound nail with the bending tweezers, when required.
5. File the nails to the final shape and refine the surface with a bent & straight acrylic finisher. Then polish the surface glossy with a traditional 3-Way polisher and a little skin oil or with magic gloss polisher (no skin oil).
6. When the cuticle and the total surface of the nail are oiled, wipe the surface of the nail dry and finish it with UV Filter top coat.
