Step by step / EDGE (roof)-shape gel nail

Preparation: Prepare the nail as usual: 1. push the skin up, remove any sticky skin with the scrappy part of the preparatory spatula, 2. shorten the nail length, 3. mat the surface with 180 grit file, 4. Dust off carefully, then use the preparatory liquids for proper sterilization, dehydration and adhesion (first use Nail Prep, then the acid or acid-free primer, as you like, or even both), 5. Before placing the pattern, remove the middle part and stick it as reinforcement onto the back side of the part below the free edge. Cut the pattern and tailor it to the form of the natural nails free edge, if necessary. The pattern should be positioned accurately according to the form of the desired built nail. Now, in this case, I shaped the pattern after the form of the modern stiletto nail, but if you like to build a parallel sided nail, it should have a parallel or slightly shrinking cylinder form.
	1. Fold an edge in the upper part of the pattern when you position it.
	2. From the front view the pattern will show a clearly distinguished form.
	3. Make a base layer with clear building gel: thin on the natural nail and a bit thicker on the pattern.
	4. Create this special V-shaped elongation on the pattern with the gel.
	5. Take the pattern off very carefully after curing the nail for 3 minutes.
	6. Form the nail bed with Cover Pink Diamond gel.
	7. Draw the negative of the smile line.
	8. Create the white end with the blinding Xtreme White building gel while you follow the shape and backbone of the clear base layer.
	9. Cover the surface with clear building gel. Pay close attention as you form the C-curve and the backbone line.
	10. After curing and fixing, refine the edges and the surface to the final shape. Always keep the file in 45 degrees from the top upwards.
	11. While refining the surface, hold the file parallel with the fingers in 45° upward. Be careful not to file the edge off at the backbone.
	12. Top the nail with Top Shine finishing gel.
